Kickstarter is now one of the
leading graphic novel publishers. This article looks at the business models and revenues from Kickstarter and several major comic publishers. Crowdfunding is having a huge impact on the comics field. This makes me happy, because the mainstream comic publishers aren't always supportive of diversity. Crowdfunding will support anything for which you can rustle up a bunch of people who want it.
